Activité bénéfique à la santé, le sport permet également de développer des valeurs de respect, de solidarité et de fair-play. La métropole promeut le sport de haut niveau pour susciter l’admiration, l’émotion et la fierté. Il contribue au rayonnement du territoire et à son attractivité économique et touristique. Les athlètes de haut niveau sont un levier pour promouvoir le sport pour tous, vecteur d’inclusion sociale, de mixité, de diversité et de cohésion au sein des clubs sportifs. Ainsi, nous continuons de soutenir une politique publique offensive du sport de haut niveau complémentaire du sport pour tous.
